Out of the entire drawing, the ears were the hardest part to nail down for some reason. I mean they’re just triangles but they were kicking my ass for the longest time.

Similarly, when I teach basic character sketching to kids in my local classes, I like to point out the "Triangles-squares-circles" thing going on with The Crystal Gems.

They always realize I am drawing Pearl once I draw what is basically an egg on a stick with two triangles.
