Today is the first day of spring. May there be a rebirth in every way this year...we need it.

Let’s usher in spring with Botticelli’s Primavera, or “Spring,” c. 1470s. Classical figures & plants abound, & at right, we see Zephyrus turn Chloris into Flora, the goddess of spring. Scholars feel the work is laced with Neoplatonist & magical allusions. ☺️🌼

My dear Golden,
It's been two years since you left. I wish you had seen spring again. I hope Gaia was able to find you and that you are now together in an eternal spring.
Where you once stand, there is a new life now. But rest assured, you might be gone, but never forgotten. 🤍

For the past couple months, I've been juggling a few projects, that I won't be able to share for awhile. I took last weekend to finish up this painting, that I'd been working on a little bit every morning for a week or so, to get warmed up. Very much ready for spring.
