Alien Art. I just found a homage to "Isle of the Dead" - the painting by Arnold Böcklin (1827-1901), in Ridley Scott's movie "Alien Covenant". Scott's inspiration may have come from H.R. Giger's "Homage to Böcklin" (1977). Giger created the template look for all Alien films.

1904 the play debuted. It was inspired in part by J.M. Barrie’s admiration for the highly popular Christmas season "musical dream play" BLUEBELL IN FAIRYLAND (1901), book by actor/ writer Seymour Hicks. Ellaline Terriss played Bluebell the flower girl.
