Extremely high quality, it's way more serious than the OVAs or the first movie but still is entertainment, the visuals really peak here

On the 25th of April 1988, the very first Patlabor OVA (The Early Days) was released. Based on the manga by Masami Yuki, the OVA series proved popular enough to spawn an entire franchise filled with media such as a TV series, movies & video games.

Mobile Police Patlabor (OVA series)
It's a pretty fun series with funny and likeable characters and cool robots
I specially like how it looks, it's a really good artstyle

I like robot anime. "Mobile Police Patlabor "is the highest in terms of description. The retro atmosphere of the80s is good.
