confident and on the offensive, fearful and letting go of his defenses. both times he acted out of love and care for his friends, even when we didn’t know at first and were unaware of his true self

the show really at first tried to make darius seem so cold, calculating, confident, and composed, but the first time we ever see him so truly in distress and drop all his defenses is when his loved ones are in danger/about to die. he has so many emotions that he never shows 😭
