#Inktober2020 Day 23: Rip. Superman’s iconic ripping! #Superman #Inktober
Over the weekend I read the complete SUPERMAN’S PAL JIMMY OLSEN. It's twisty and funny and heartfelt and a little bit (okay, a lot) weird, basically the best of what a comic book can be. Complete TPB is out this month 📸
Aside from certain fans just being flat out shitty, Doc Shaner isn’t some nostalgic Superman must be one way guy. He’s always shown appreciation for new looks and has proven his ability to show Superman’s range of emotion without hacky angry eyes
Something like #superbat -ober 😄

@titansscreens The only problem with adding LOSH to Titans and Batman is Superman’s age.
LOSH Superman is from the 21st century, college freshman age in 2000 at the earliest, then looks to be in his 30’s a few years later in Batman (taking place before TT)
Wonder if this Byrne story about Superman’s out-of-control powers was an inspiration for the MOS film climax. We see the villain putting Superman in a choke hold so as to aim his heat vision, flying into buildings, destruction. Except here Superman isn’t doing it on purpose.
I do like this demonstration of Superman’s powers. “He’s flying the ship from the inside!” Also cool splash of the thanagarian fleet. Interesting color. Anyone have the original? Curious if it was colored quite this way.
It’s a little thing but I really really love how Ivan Reis draws draws Superman’s belt and belt loops at an angle. I think it’s the best modern take on the red overwear
This feels like the right tone of Superman’s sense of humor to me
So many great artists have tackled the Last Son of Krypton, it’s hard to pick just one. But I sure would love to see Steve Rude do an extended run on the character. He captures Superman’s essence perfectly. https://t.co/NMNe69Yu4S
In honor of Superman’s anniversary I will share my four favorite pencillers of the Man of Steel (Jon Bogdanove, Dan Jurgens, Frank Quitely and José Luis García-López).
Easy to see why he is the most important hero of all and why he can be so inspiring.
Its a bird! Its a plane! No, Its Superman!
Today is the 82nd anniversary of Superman’s debut to the world!! Happy Birthday Superman!!! Drew Henry Cavill’s Superman because hes my Superman.

Today is Superman’s 82nd Birthday. What Clark Kent comics do you find yourself returning to over and over again? All-Star Superman is probably our favorite, but @PeterJTomasi & @patrick_gleason’s Rebirth run comes a close second. Through family, we see the heart of the character.

Read this great thread from the master of comics advice threads and also buy SUPERMAN’S PAL JIMMY OLSEN to see said master draw a cat that violently vomits blood (and lots of other wonderful things). #comics #ECCC #eccc2020 https://t.co/y4KINnT0Rw
