Today's introduction will be Blackfriars, outer division instructor of St. Iris. Based off London Blackfriars, it is the only train station spanning the River Thames. Background features the nearby landmark - Blackfriars Bridge.

It’s amazing how many love tokens mudlarks find in the Thames: a gold brooch, an engraved Victorian coin, a 16th century posey ring, bent 17th and 18th century sixpences and a modern silver heart. Some lost, others thrown in, the Thames is a river of broken hearts

British husband & wife team, Cynthia (author) and Brian Paterson (illustrator) first story was published in 1985 and seven more followed. They married in 1973, moved to London, then moved to Henley-on-Thames where they conceived Foxwood Tales.
