eventually i found my way to Calvin and Hobbes and i vividly remember being so jealous of every single panel, every brushstroke like....i wanna do that can i do that?
I caress my work with every brushstroke, but she caresses my soul.

@yuanalbano28 Yeah, by smudging the edge of the base layer and by drawing on it, then applied some liquify effects so the brushstrokes are kinda wavy and elongated (surely there’s a better way but lol)
untitled #02 by @Sol_Papi_
Purchased for ◎ 10 on @exchgART
I loved this colors and brushstrokes from Papi from back then already but lost some auctions, couldn't believe this one was hidden there

Yeah, this one got away from me. My professor wants to see more of my unique characters, so I painted both versions of Romero. He kind of disappeared under all the brushstrokes. Oops.
Ok, this one is done. I'm not going to give It a title because is just my personal feeling when I play D&D.
There may be a lot of little details that I could push a bit further but right now every brushstroke has a great posibility of screwing It up.

Starting the week with a splash of colour. 🎨💦
From thin, drippy washes to thick, textured brushstrokes, Joan Mitchell's energetic painting dances around the canvas. See the abstract work up close @Tate_StIves. 💙

Whether you like AI or not, for me these textures is hard, if not impossible, to replicate with with a brush (irl or digital). It’s the way AI blends colours, make cuts, interpret my initial brushstrokes. A chisel don’t leave marks like a brush. AI is for me a way to paint.
Georges Rogy (1897–1981) Belgian painter. Rogy clearly has a skilled hand in his hazy and soft style of brushstrokes.
