That's not just great, that's life changing I guess. That takes a lot of time, even first sketches were done after half of the year of research. I am hoping to get some 6 or 9 of Disks in order to be able to dedicate myself to this project full time😌
I also have ATU XIV card

I also had a copy of UFO: Enemy Unknown with an error on one of its disks, so we couldn't install it to HDD, and couldn't save. The error was in the jungle data, so we had to hope we had no missions there. 😁 We'd leave games running all week.. until we got the proper version. 😋

I hunger for disks of tomato and cheese

Stone ear-spool disks from the ca. AD 900-1450 Caddo affiliated Spiro Mounds, Leflore Co., OK (Burnett 1945, Pl. 14). Many retained traces or fragments of copper, indicating many spools were sheath in the metal. Though there were different styles, here is what 1 might look like.

I have all 13 disks buried in the garage somewhere.. 😐

I like this. My version with Mathematica is a bit of a cheat: two radius values are trial and error values rather than exact solution from intersection calculations. I may go back and clean it up. I drew this using four disks and three annular sectors.

If it's not clear, this is a chat overlay for said friend's streams, in the style of Firecracker's PC-88 music disks, here, so you can see the original reference:

I just did the art, she's the one that worked on getting the overlay and chat and oscilloscope right!

Illyana, consummate solider and big gun of the team uses one of her stepping disks to rescue Sam and drag the boy and their captured goon into Limbo.

We had to say goodbye to our best and most beautiful bud Stump this week. I’m heartbroken to have spent such a short time with him, but the love he shared with us will never leave. And he’ll love on as the 6 of Disks, a sign of comfort and happiness to anyone who sees him 💚

Note that, while the C64 Scene Database seems to only have one of the Activision Demo Disks, the C64 Preservation Project only has three (numbered 1, 3, and 7) ..so it seems that there might be some others knocking around out there that I'd dearly love to see. Mmmm... Demo Disks.

I love running things from HDD, coz I had an A500 for many long years, and the pain of waiting for loading off of DF0, and swapping disks still hurts. 😋 But collecting screenshots here DotC in WHDLoad was loading *too* quick, so I setup a plain A500 machine and loaded from that.

tommy looks like dave, obviously (plus both have stuff to do with disks), but his characterization is more like karkat. he shouts a lot, and is a leader who feels he's not a good one because bad shit happened on his watch. + (art: homestuck, pesterquest)

They were prolific, back in the day.
I recall seeing quite a few disks with that eagle pic being the first thing seen..
