Just to show a quick comparison of the color changes in the re-design (the right is from 2008, although Charles first made an appearance around 2003 or so)

I tried to "honor" most of the original color scheme (that electric blue from his socks is now in his gums and paw pads)

I think a little But clear difference IS the teeth. Jim Lee usually prefers to Draw the just LOWER gums to simulate the teeth.

my scrapped redesign of Nightmare Oswald, comparing it to the other Nightmare recreations I've made, this one didn't feel right to me.

The way I pictured it is that the fleshy "teeth" of the original I could replace with actual gums with sharp teeth, I'll get it right someday.
