The first written and graphic documentation on the discovery of a fragment of dinosaur bone was in 1677. A naturalist of the XVIII called it Scrotum humanum, thinking it was petrified testicles. This fossil, now lost, is probably a Megalosaurus femur.

Clade Dinosauria family crest, feat olde timey Megalosaurus and Iguanodon. While outdated now, those old illustrations and sculptures hold a place in my heard as the beginning of paleoart!

so heres an idea ive thought about doing for a while, creating 3d models of outdated depictions of dinosaurs, im not a palaeontologist, but i dont think it matters in this case, so were starting of with the first dinosaur discovered- megalosaurus , this should be fun

Nobody asked me how I would design Gen 8's "wrong dinos" but I've been thinking about it all day anyway!
I would've based them on the Crystal Palace models of Iguanodon & Megalosaurus (both fossils found in England)
Perhaps their evolutions would be the "correct" dinos. https://t.co/C7P2iPUBNx

If game freak won’t give me megalosaurus and iguanodon fossil pokemon, then I’ll make them myself
Rascile and its evolution Tenebroar, rock and dark type
