Now for something kaiju related
Was thinking of tweaking my Godzilla design and made this little doodle
I kinda dig it, but not sure if I'll go for it yet. May edit to make more, tyrannosaurid-like. Still thinking but wanted to share.

Before I fall asleep I just want to talk about Jakapil Kaniukura, the recently named Thyreophoran dinosaur species discovered in Argentina. He was a little herbivore and a distant relative of ankylosaurids and stegosaurids and I would die for this little guy.

An armored dinosaur from Queensland, lived ~130mya during the early Cretaceous. It and its other armored counterparts from and Antarctica may form their own family, but for now they are all considered "basal" ankylosaurids.

Was expecting a new abelisaurid, got something straight out of a spec project. Meet Jakapil kaniukura, a basal thyreophoran from the Late Cretaceous aged Candeleros Formation! For context, this thing lived alongside Giganotosaurus.

Gnathovorax cabreirai! Herrerasaurids are wonderful creatures that are basically Theropod Beta Test 1.0 and I love them a lot. They're so weird and noodly

I start my new project, Tyrannosaurids series, I will illustrate all existing Tyrannosaurids. The first one we have is this Guanlong wucaii.

I show the old versions that were made through time.

Meet the Metriorhynchus (Metriorhynchus geoffroyii)! An extinct crocodile that adapted to a pelagic lifestyle evolving body structures similiar to mosasaurids. Colors based on the Australian freshwater crocodile (Crocodylus johnstoni).

New blogpost for I discuss the textures of carcharodontosaurid skulls in an attempt to reconstruct the face of Giganotosaurus (a tricky animal to research but a cool one to draw). https://t.co/r8J97qeEvm

Dino Fact!

Torvosaurus (Savage Lizard) is a megalosaurid from Late Jurassic Europe and North America! At an average size of 9 meters long, with some specimens reaching near 11 meters, it's one of the largest known theropods of the Jurassic- (1/3)

A chase occurs on the Isle of Wight (Circa. 125 mya) a mob of Ceratosuchops chases, grabs, and tugs on a Mantellisaurus, an iguanodont who is speedier than its bulkier cousin but still is no match for the coordination of the mobbing spinosaurids.

Introducing the Dracoficedula Ceaseria, also known as the Common Dracophage. These nyctosaurid pterosaurs are long-distance fliers with a taste for fish and other pterosaurs on the wing. Males reach about 250 pounds, and are only topped by azdarchids in size.

Heterodontosaurus, female and male respectively, a small heterodontosaurid ornitischian from the Early Jurassic. Based on Scott Hartman's skeletal.
