I really like the idea of Eve having two different types of coat depending on the solstice. I'll still keep drawing regular Eve the most though I bet! ✨

The Yule log was the peak of the Solstice. Once in the fireplace, it was decorated in seasonal greenery, doused with cider or ale, and dusted with flour before set ablaze. The log would burn through the night, then smolder for 12 days.

Anna Broadhurst's 'take care of the planet' feels like an apt image to share today on Winter Solstice. A lot has happened in terms of environmental activism this year and we hope that 2020 brings even more light and action to this extremely important issue.

Day 14: Night

The festival of the Longest Night happens on the Winter Solstice. Gift-giving and writing letters of thanks abound. When the sun sets, all gather around a roaring bonfire where the village elders tell myths about the constellations.
