@JeviplushWants Ironically it does look more like a heart in the Chapter 1 sprites, but it may be that they used dark green for the "stem" of the spade instead of black, and since it's the same color as the shading it didn't stand out so much and thus we got the fanon black heart design.

Made some D-Sides Sonic edits & sprites, can't mod for the life of me but hey, if anyone wants to try, here ya have a base.
It's also the cheapest thing they can pull off! They don't have to make new sprites, other than animating them again for the special attacks.
Also these need to be upgraded. They're too good to be forgotten.

So Vampire Survivors updated a bunch of character sprites, and one of them now looks a lot like my character Lina, somewhere between her original and current designs. No way there was actually any inspiration from Lina, but I can still pretend she's in the game lol.
I've been spending the past week updating tilesets, here's the other ones I've made since the last post. Next up is updating enemy sprites, then I can finally update the Steam page again.
