It's been over a year now since the tragic passing of one of my favourites artist, Takahiro Kimura. I missed honoring him on March 5, so I am doing my tribute now. I want to keep trying to imitate his style, and reminisce why I love it so much, so here's a Suika in his style.
Hat witch first restyle.
The tendrils are now thinner, like real hair and the eyes are now light blue and... cuter, I think?
At least she doesn't look a fake like before.

I'm ngl. Something about platformers like this makes them harder than any Fromsoft title for me and probably any other game genre.
Loved the world building & characters, art, unique combat style. Game has a strong identity that sets it apart.

This is the sketch, drawn 3 years ago. It's an homage to the Amazing Mirror NA box art, featuring mirror counterparts and a "movie poster" style. Back then I wanted to be good enough to do this idea justice, and for the 20th anniversary I felt I could do it right. Love this game.
