Everything down to mundane patterns were lovingly planned references to the art of Sophia's patron arcana(s) in some shape or form, mashed into various stylizations of grecian/roman attires throughout the ages

Jester girl then & Jester girl now!
Decided to go with a bit more stylization.
This is by no means her "final" design, but it's a nice glow-up.
As always, criticism & input appreciated!
(No, she's not greyscale, I just did the 2nd pic at 2am & didn't feel like colouring.)

That's such a lovely thing to do! Here's some of what I do - I specialize primarily in fantasy characters, and I love working with stylization and facial expressions.

An old ass photo study. Reckon I could do it better now, but back then I was still trying to find a good balance between stylization and realism.

Galadriel.

I’ve been pushing myself to not over-render or go completely cartoony so I tried a different level of stylization with this.

In animation those are called Multiples. It's a stylization choice meant to help showcase the speed of a moving object in animation.

USUALLY, it's mostly used for 2D Animation, but nowadays, thanks to stuff like Spiderverse, 3D artists have been exploring the technique! https://t.co/z75RRJUTIC

I wanted to go for more stylization + simplification. These were with a time limit, to get a solid base of the whole quickly.

A common problem I have with fanart and stylization is that I want to make something look mine but end up struggling to stay on model and fall into symbol drawing, getting some really wonky results.😓At least I can see it and fix it now. It shows I'm improving!

When some people say stylization doesn't matter, always remember that these two Transformers had toys that were identical, save for deco, but the stylized designs make them look very different.

Yoshinari's illustrations on the other hand has its own stylization. Character designs gave em such a unique look, and the shading looked great plus the linework... I can't even describe it but it has that unique and eye catching look to it. Same can be applied in his animations.

I turned my old wolf character Rafaros into Kalamit's species just to test some design possibilities within that, and try out stylizations with it.

I love to sculpt Rocks.

That's one of the most relaxing things in 3D for me.
I always try to add some sort of stylization to my sculpts.

Its a nice break in between big projects, when I want to produce something quick and rewarding

Hi! This is one of my favorite works. It combines both fairy tale and neon joy, looking at this work you are immersed in a world of tranquility. After this piece I realized that I wanted to go completely into stylization. But while I'm finishing my collections in my realism🥳

the vast array of styles, and unique perspectives that comes with developing your own work is something that ai cannot replicate
Ai cannot understand stylization, which is what makes art worth consuming in the first place
