Here’s my painting of the day. This is a bespoke painting I produced on glass in 2014 for a private client and it’s called “Body sundial”

shoutout to @ihavefivehat for ace representation!!
Did lots of research on sundials today, gained some intriguing design elements to use. Fun fact the triangle (or really an protrusion on the sundial that casts the shadow) is called a "gnomon". #artistsontwitter
3pm today....
Sound your signals. Set your foghorns to ‘reminder’. Heck, pop a balloon on your sundial so it pops at 2.55pm. Whatever works!
Just be there or be square! #dinked
To all my new followers TY AND WELCOME!!! Heres my official announcement that https://t.co/eNTo5mjS6U will be re-opening this Friday, 7/17! There will be new stickers, and my first set of patches!! Mark ur sundials :] 😈👻

A very early C20 view of the south terrace, showing the formal gardens as William Brodrick Thomas had laid them out in the latter C19. The very eagled-eyed of you might be able to spot the Coade sundial on the top terrace! The house is still rendered with stucco #MuseumFromHome
THIS JUST HAPPENED!!! :) One step closer to "Savior"... just need a legendary run of the Sundial... anyone want to help a girl out? lol... #destiny2 #savior #thanksfordonating

Multifaced Equatorial Sundial 1604. Tells the hour on five different dials + ways of calculating the reigning planet for each hour of the day and the sun’s position in a given zodiac sign. Inscriptions read: "Death stands at the end of all things" & "Seek me and I shall not be."
Ancient Egyptians used 4 sided obelisks and a T- shape sundial, situated in strategic point, to tell the time as the sun was passing by. They were also the first ones in creating portable sundials. Time was calculated depending on the length of the shadow.
Tibetan priest's time-stick from Darjeeling, India, unsigned, 1895-1905; similar to the column sundial, a wire gnomon was placed in the hole that corresponded with the month, it was then twisted to align the shadow with the scale @sciencemuseum https://t.co/OKxuf7YFui
Hi @StudioTeaBreak my @CFcomiX -inspired Monday #MythicalMashup monster Sundial and Giant pot only turn up on Wednesday. There must be an @Adsaxist #shapechallenge in there somewhere, suspect there is a @PhilipArdagh watering can somewhere nearby (full house)
