If you want your monsters to have cooler designs and more story, look up Digimon analogues. This Treant is way cooler and has cherries. Wonder what the cherries do? Why do they have a cane? Is that a mustache!? All important details with story implications.

Freya. Half-Treant hybrid. A delinquent with a reputation for punishing those who aren't "honest" to her. Uninterested in making friends, and so may be hard to get along with, but she is weak to children. Her disdain for lies arguably makes her a good role model for them too.
