Revisiting the first episode of Static Shock this morning and, all told, it's a solid debut for the series. The character work and subject matter, especially for Virgil, really hits hard, the gags work and the cliffhanger is aces.

Revisiting "The Zeta Project" this morning, specifically the Batman Beyond crossover and the series finale. A heckuva solid series that, to this day, remains overlooked despite its interesting role in the DCAU.

Looking to start the day with something upbeat, and the Static Shock episode "Future Shock" fits the bill. Time travel, multiple Batmen, multiple Statics and some solid humor, this episode is just piles of fun.
