Daily Practice ✏️

So, I’m still practising cartooning people and that’s been the main “theme of Practice” for the past month and this one.

Now I’m experimenting with new angles for the reference characters I'm studying and it’s been quite funnn.

What are you guys upto?

Regarding the whole AI generated art issue, all I can say is, years of studying and practice. I may not be great at drawing, but I did improve. I do believe some people have the talent to produce amazing art from the get-go, but it's not a talent of mine.

well i see some kind of improvement here, but i have to say I'm studying a lot now and I'm trying to avoid procrastination...

These were done even after years of doodling and studying. They can be worse, but they sure aren’t good!! Every artist out there has sketchbooks or folders of cringe-inducing artwork and that’s a testament to the amount of work it takes to make progress in this trade

2016 vs 2022 - there is no way to get better “naturally” by drawing without the desire to learn, only by studying and continuing to challenge myself am i able to draw the way i do now #skillnottalent

I spent years studying my fundamentals and making terrible drawings on the phone my parents bought me. I loved the process and kept at it, and younger me would lose his mind if he could see me now.

i would say 2019 is the year i kinda found my style but still experimenting a lot. Studying definetely helped with that

as you can tell i drew day and night. Actually my whole teen year memory is just me drawing xD

in 2018 i still did some realistic portraits but i also started studying design so i made more own idea stuff again

So these scientists offered me a place to stay for the night. They put me in this pod for me to rest, but I think they're studying me? I don't know, I fe weird.

Oh well. It's a place to stay for the night.
