The new color method I tried was grayscale to color. Here's the "grayscale" version (I ended up doing a mix).
Learning this new technique was a daunting task, so much that I gave up...and then came back to it the next day after I got my shit together lol.

I only use the tablet for color and grayscale/halftone, crosshatching and everything else is done traditionally. Not pictured, my blue pencils. I use for hand/head angles and references, LOTS of them. Both figures and model kits (like motorcycles, guns, and stuff)

Spent most of the day today experimenting with a newish looking art style I painted the hair/skin in grayscale then used a gradient map to add color!

Still gotta figure out what outfit to put her in whoops xD
