Tried to sculpt an oni mask yesterday to some eh results. Today's sketch felt better as I experimented with my workflow and tried to incorporate tips I saw of keeping things low and clean.

I'm still learning and will probably develop a more efficient workflow over time but so far my strategy is to sketch, slap down general colors, then refine those colors and outline at the same time. Also copious use of the lasso tool and flipping the canvas a million times

I haven't been able to get on a good workflow, so it's been an uphill struggle to keep my stride going and keep up with commissions.

Sketch vs final
I like to sketch out character poses on paper, then import them into Photoshop and arrange them in a collage. It's a quirky workflow, but it works!
