That being said, I will always die on the hill that Sakura should NOT have been Sarada’s mother in Gaiden.

I like Sakura but it would’ve made the whole theme of “bonds > genetics” a LOT stronger and Gaiden a lot better, if Sarada learned to love her non-biological Mom as one.
