This we are in the Unsaddling Enclosure 🐎

The unsaddling enclosure, like the start of the race, was another of Munnings's favourite subjects.

In the studies he experiments with the bright light contrast of the stands, the coat of the horse and shadows.

In the meantime I've been working on a sister collection for this one called "Visions of Death" as a contrast.

Besides black and white, it is incorporating red to emphasize that vision. I am somewhere halfway through completion.

The theme of the modjam is contrast, so I wanted that to push that as far as I could with the designs made for Sour & Sweet

The way I shade them is completely different. Sour is shaded with a lot of geometrical patterns while Sweet uses primarily round shading.

Never said >> all << medieval fantasy is bad, just that I dislike the sanitized version of it that's in mainstream media. The middle age was weirder.

In contrast, early FF was 80s/90s high fantasy/DnD, not medieval.
