I finally got around to checking some blender pipeline tutorial I bought access to a while ago, + some pixar ones that are free on khan academy, and now that I know the absolute minimal 3D lighting stuff no one can stop me from making random painterly dragon heads

Another nice feature of this pipeline is different finished assets can be slapped together so outsource artists don't have to spend time incorporating things that have already been done. This guys backpack is one of the ammo containers.
