I don't think visuals would be a problem, I don't need them to replicate each crosshatching and make it move, simplified but on model style would be just fine. Inoue's style has been adapted before and I think it looks great

attempt at designing DJSS' mom. very large space being. the cross hatching is just where there would be a black gradient on the fabric. the bottom of her dress is sheer and you'd see her legs. her hair is like ever changing flowing nebula space dust/clouds. a sun inside the orb.
