I know I'm the only person on this train, but I think Nightmare (Soul Calibur) would be an excellent character for Smash. He could bring in a unique "Heavy Sword" archtype into the game, and with the Soul Charge mechanic (Soul Calibur 2) there could be lots of fun insprations.
