Been on a real Smeargle obsession this week, so I ended up making yet another Smeargle Pokemorph; a Smeargle/Sentret hybrid named Rudy Whitaker (also goes by "Ru"), an art teacher and life drawing model who uses moves like Bulk Up & Stckpile to take on different body shapes.

Practicing to work simple again and with strong shapes.
I think I'm getting to the core of my art block.
I'm over complicating my work lately and get lost in details.

Nothing more I like than big hair- and it's my favorite way to mix the abstract with the figurative. Inkblots in particular are my favorite hair shapes. ^_^

I’ll include a before and after...
first pass was just blocking in the shapes (not shown here), and then the second pass (first picture) was putting down the colors I wanted.
Finally, the third and last pass was laying down the paint thicker, and creating stronger shapes.

Good question. The shapes could be any kind of complexity with or without holes. Exact precision would be ideal and I'd need to run it on many complex shapes.

Here's stuff from the third fractal I worked with today. This was the "too strong" one, and gave me landscapes and creature shapes...

Some ghost I did last night!

I was trying to start drawing but just started making random shapes. I ended up with these! It's a fun exercise to get the gears turning

Hi . Urea crystals. Very different from what I typically get. Here is one from the same slide with more typical colors and shapes. And even this one is not the typical smooth look I've gotten on other slides The second one is more inline. Go figure.

Your body's fur quickly changes to a black color as your ears take on triangular shapes. Your hair re-arranges itself into bangs with white highlights. Your tail becomes long and thin, and feet into digitigrade paws.

Been making ammo boxes from DOOM lately to practice my 3D modeling skills. No textures or anything, just complicated shapes. Every time I think it's a piece of cake it takes me an hour to cut a single hole cleanly...

Much y2k 3DCG focused on abstraction - spheres, metaballs, simple shapes with focus on material - in a way that incorporated y2k colors and shapes. Water was a popular focus - fluid, cool, and blue - and evoked ideas of the "digital sea" of cyberspace.

Curves To Mesh creates and configures mesh surfaces from bezier curves. Useful when you need to create accurate pieces of a mesh, like an aircraft, or for more organic shapes. https://t.co/tuXmxr7pxk

Hiya! Any advice y'all can offer about improving my shading/lighting? I'm not wild about how dependent a lot of my art is on the outlines to define shapes..

Also, any tips on how to give my wings a little extra pizzazz?
