Take the nobodies from KH2. Because they're the discarded bodies after someone becomes a heartless, the overall clothing/zipper/jacket aesthetic fits perfectly. They're discarded "shells", and they contrasts greatly to the more organic appearance to heartless.

Early on, there was an want to explore a sort of "ripped out of the world" look, to try to tie it into the inner realm. These were kind of discarded quickly as "too busy." We really wanted to simplify the design so it was unobtrusive.
