@tonypuglieso @godotengine That would be very good for ISO indeed! You can make a "ghetto" version yourself for now with nesting. For example to make a floor tile you add a Sprite node as a child of a Node2D, rotate the Sprite node 45° and set the scale of the Node2D to x:2 y:1

They're never going back to 2D, but man bringing back sprites or even cool hand-drawn stylized "exaggerated" poses like some older gens would be neat.

just some thoughts, I'm really not a fan of this part, it looks awesome in 2d, but in low poly 3d it will stretch, bend, clip, etc. just imagine 360 rotating arm around the shoulder 😕
Realized I've never done piles of one-off studies in 3D like I do in 2D, and as a result I still stumble with 3D. Started modeling this PAL SNES console just for practice. Underestimated the complexity but having fun :)
@michaelmaurer @ben_304 I'm terrible at 2D, but passable at 3D, so it seemed like a good way to communicate what I was after! There are a couple of scenes that aren't, sometimes because perspective doesn't work in them, but for Latha's room, Ben actually drew it before I had time to send the reference!
