#c64 practice again. Gonna be honest. Kind of going insane doing this one piece at the end. I think I'm overthinking things... Or am I?
It's truly stunning; sitting back and thinking about my first foray into 3D on a C64 back in 1988, scraping for every cycle to get a handful of vectors spinning, and then today getting my hands on UE5 and witnessing the majesty of Nanite just 33 years later. Technology is fab!
A decent arcade conversion, Ikari Warriors, great fun 2 player game back in the day.

@BitmapsRetro @newIapetus Yeah. There's a point, later on, where games on the C64 were starting to look kinda messy/noisy, with all the detail they were trying to cram in. There was a time, somewhere in the early to middle part where it just looked nice, IMHO. 😁
Released in May 1988, Professional BMX Simulator was a game that almost every #C64 gamer owned BITD. The 2nd game in the Codemasters' Super Sprint-inspired BMX series was similar to its predecessor but added a simultaneous four-player option. It earned 76% in issue 37 of ZZAP!64.
One of the #C64 #pixelart pieces I have made in recent times. This is one of my personal favourites. It was made for the fantastic Bruce Lee sequel by @RebelAndroid
@rexthedogge I quite liked Way of the Tiger on the C64.
Though I readily admit, it's not a great game. 😋
But it's certainly pretty..
I just released #Hibernated1 (Director's Cut), an #Infocom interactive fiction style game for more than 22 classic #8bit and #16bit systems, including the #C64 #Amiga #Atari8bit #ST #ZXSpectrum #CPC and so much more! Please RT! https://t.co/c7F0ZUr2sd
@000Angus000 @AmigaL0ve I had that one on the right.. Amiga version.
I enjoyed wandering around aimlessly in those games. But then there were these "puzzle" things that I couldn't be bothered with. 😋
(Screenshots from the C64 version, coz I haven't screen-snapped the Amiga one yet.) 📷

"ZZZZ", de los prolíficos Les Hogarth y Clive Wilson, fue la primera aventura que jugué en Commodore 64. Una de las cosas que me sorprendió, además de los iconos de control, fue que contaba con música de presentación y efectos de sonido, como el timbre de la bicicleta. 😯

This Chaos Engine PETSCII screen on the #commodore64 #c64 is pretty cool too.

@FlightDreamz Note that, while the C64 Scene Database seems to only have one of the Activision Demo Disks, the C64 Preservation Project only has three (numbered 1, 3, and 7) ..so it seems that there might be some others knocking around out there that I'd dearly love to see. Mmmm... Demo Disks.
@C64Reloaded @Il_Paradroide @TheGavNinja Yup. Exactly right.
Ultimate made some games I really loved on the C64: Underwurlde, Staff of Karnath, and Entombed. 🤔 But that's about where it stops for me.
