Whenever I need to refocus myself as an artist (especially on my current book) I always like to revisit my first loves - in this instance the gorgeous pencil concept art for RKO’s 1933 “King Kong.”

Revisited this fanart of @nyaaaaati 's tattoo because I'm curious to see what it would be like if the snake actually moved. So I made a rough test animation. Animating it made me appreciate how actually complex snake movements are. Nature is amazing.
