Thanks for the help ❤️ I'm a comics/concept artist who studied at the interational comics school in Rome, currently working on a tabletop rpg. I like myself some thick ink works and large flat colored surfaces with clear cut shadows.

Lining and flat colors are done. It's time to add details and maybe shadows.

A little fun I had in 2019 with drawing weapons as
as a stealthy and cunning glider that strikes from shadows.
as with its horn and crest spikes matching the Dusts chambers.

// Your OC and what they’re named after.

WinterMist is named after well, a winter’s mist. Mysterious like the mist, she’s an unknown entity for most; hiding out in the shadows. Once found, like winter, she’s a true gem to be sought after. https://t.co/6j3OA9wtUh

Andrew, shading a face recuquires attention to very fine change in tone and anatomical construciton. I am attaching my old piece, far from perfect, but shows what I mean by fine transitions between light and shadows.

665 - Spewpa
Type: Bug

It lives hidden within thicket shadows. When predators attack, it quickly bristles the fur covering its body in an effort to threaten them.

I'm inkls, an amateur artist trying to get better and eventually make a comic. Big fan of heavy shadows.

Yep! And also the use of shadows.
Here's a side-by-side comparison. EVO's colors are less saturated compared to Zero/Ao which I think makes the colors look really dead to me. Left one have heavier details in eyes and hair, colors have more saturation and looks lively 💕

Swooping down gracefully from the sky and landing on its mighty retractible cloofs, the Caticorn purrs. A rumble emanates from its chest and you feel deeply at peace. It lays down, daintily bathing itself under a tree and vanishes in the shadows.

🔮 Trying out the new art style - simple style 2.0 🔮
More detailed line and less detailed shadows. What do you think?

After! He was in a PJO group! He got a lot of development here, sadly I wasn't able to keep his wings and his powers shifted to that of shadows. But Sol has always been about healing and rebirth, so I concentrated on mental rebirth. To learn and grow.

Then I start adding the shadows. It's easier to start the shadows first. Trust me. I took the flat skin color and shifted the hue to be a bit darker. It's on Multiply.

The second pic, I copied the the same layer, put Soft Light on it then gently blended it.
