In The Woods

In this piece I tried to explore a theme that I haven't done for some time, nature and the jungle.
The dinosaur chosen this time was the Microraptor, a very interesting species. :)

Nope! There's others like Borealopelta and Microraptor, who also have been found with preserved melanosomes!

Initially I was gonna draw a Microraptor, but then i figured was as fitting for a devil such as Devil Homura

I have a microraptor, a traffic light cerberus and a vampire bat cow plush

*bounce bounce bounce* Me too! They are like Cretaceous geese! Though I also hold little theropods like microraptor, archaeopteryx, oviraptor, and (turkey sized) velociraptors in my heart.

Omggg I’d definitely pick a microraptor, longisquama, aquilops, or anurognathus https://t.co/LuQ55bWnzp

Heho-

for microraptor, even modern day ravens have a somewhat wide range of coloration- you can probably pass off speculative colors as different species :3

Respecto al color del plumaje de Microraptor, quizá el género Corvus de aves actuales represente un referente más próximo que las urracas que menciono en el podcast (a veces no se me ocurre el mejor ejemplo).

Já estava me enjoando de desenhar personagens humanos ou semi humanos, então nesses últimos dias decidi experimentar algo novo, desenhei uns dinossauros antropomórficos aqui, 1-Microraptor, 2-Psitacossauro e 3-Utahraptor u.u

Flying raptors?! More likely than you’d think!
This little guy is a Microraptorine, a group of tiny, four winged relatives of Velociraptor. The namesake of this group, Microraptor, has been found to have shiny black feathers!

A little fun I had in 2019 with drawing weapons as
as a stealthy and cunning glider that strikes from shadows.
as with its horn and crest spikes matching the Dusts chambers.

October 15, 1999, in a press conference hosted by the National Geographic magazine, "Archaeoraptor liaoningensis" is presented to the public. Later revealed to be a fake made from Microraptor, named in 2000, parts of the bird Yanornis & 1 yet undescribed species (?) 🐦🦖

My second set for the Aywas Black Friday sale! They’re based on the known colors of various dinosaurs: Archaeopteryx, Microraptor, Anchiornis, Sinosauropteryx (& of course a skeleton one I made up)
