Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. The angular character designs look midway between retro anime and a DC animated show from the 90's. The coloring is simple, with only minimal shading but that somehow makes it more appealing. There's more great ones, but I can only post 4.

You don't notice an artist's design affinities until you put them all together.

Murakami really liked four consistent things:

1) Modules on the sides
2) Angular nose bridges
3) A protruding front-half
4) A diagonal line that bisects the profile

'Angular Annie' from 2015. Something different to test my ability to create a pinup using lines constrained to only 4 angles. I'm a big fan of parralels and alignment in illustration, so it was a fun challenge! And yep - it's still 3D, made with flat poly shapes!
