For my contribution, here are species of butteflyfishes from the genus Prognathodes. I made this using Microsoft paint. See if you can ID them all!

I found some motivation today to start painting a boarfish... that I did the line work on...months ago. Didn't finish, but I'm slow. I'm learning something new!

Unfortunately I missed last week but I'm back for
I've seen a lot of teleosts, but elasmobranchs can be colourful too. Under the right light conditions the blue-spot ray's blue patches are almost hypnotic. I love them.

Hey guys! 💚
I've been working on a small concept/variant with Fishstick lately. His name is 'Fisk'. It literally just means 'fish' in Danish, I'm not very original so, haha. I guess he's sort of my first Fortnite oc, but also a concept for Fortnite?

When I moved, I left my reef tank and Lightning Maroon Clownfish temporarily in the care of my family. Apparently my fish has finally grown up enough to be territorial which includes a taste for biting fingers.

For today’s themed I did a reverse mermaid Bluefin tuna!

I’m calling it “Bluefin Booty” 😂😂

The freshwater Alligator Mermaid is an effective and GARgantuan ambushed predator, lurking in warm shallow water. This themed was fun, can't wait to look at your creations!

Here's the quick-ish mermaid from yeterday! Her godmother picked her design and named her Xquiq after the Mayan Blood Moon Goddess, which just made the whole thing more fun tbh
Lmao in the end I forgot to test out my fishscale brushes but is not over yet!

The giant (Sclerorhynchidae) wasn't just a scaled-up version of a modern sawfish (Pristidae). It's also pretty unlikely that it was as boldly patterned as I made it here, but it was fun.

I've just discovered that is a thing. I'm not one to pass up on a hashtag fad, even if it is with an extinct species. This is how I made use of my lay-in in morning.
