It's #PortfolioDay (again)!
Here's some art of mine. Mostly reconstructions of extinct animals.
I have a height chart for all of my ocs! Except Yoti and Fern because they are under reconstruction.
I used the height chart website thingy for reference.
Y'all haven't even met some of these guys. So if ya wanna meet em just comment the name and I'll post em.

Philibert Charles Berjeau's reconstruction of the extinct hoopoe starling of Réunion, Fregilupus varius, 1911 #art
The hoopoe starling is a species of starling which lived on the Mascarene island of Réunion, and became extinct in the 1850s.
Dunbar Castle, East Lothian (Scotland) watercolour reconstruction suggestions from mid 1980's. Castle defended by Black Agnes #OTD in 1338. #DunbarCastle #ScottishCastles #HistoryRebuilt #BlackAgnes #watercolourpainting
I don't think I've ever seen an ichthyosaur muscle reconstruction, so thought I'd spend a few moments on one this morning... I've emerged from the rabbit hole hours later with this take on Ophthalmosaurus myology (drawn over skeletal McGowan and Motani 2003)
Anyway, back to Spindler's paper. They provide a new reconstruction of the smushed skull, calling into question a number of the characters previously used to support the therapsid affinity. They decide its a pelycosaur, but more primitive than I found, outside sphenacodontids
Fast Castle, Borders (Scotland) watercolour reconstruction suggestion from 1987. Changed it when I found Hall machicolations led to a Keep which makes more defensive sense. #FastCastle #ScottishCastles #HistoryRebuilt #watercolourpainting
Chris Jones-Jenkins' reconstruction of Ruthin Castle is magnificent. He told us about what went into it and some of the documents used to work out how the castle may have looked. https://t.co/0JUn0BBZGc #heritage #castles #medievaltwitter
@bypass2020 Has just been described as the world’s smallest (we use 10/0 suture - thinner than human hair) and most exclusive (reconstructive vascular micro-Neurosurgeons only) sewing club! @The_SBNS @Brainbook_ @RlhNeurosurgery @KingsNeuro
@goyagoat Prehistoric kingdom is up-to-date and accurate with it's anatomy and reconstructions, with a good variety of speculation too. They're a fair amount more stylized in their models compared to games like saurian, but that helps make each species more unique
I really wanted a reconstruction of Caudipteryx that I liked, so I made one myself! (truth be told though @SerpenIllus has a lovely reconstruction that I drew some inspiration from). The guy on the right is also based on @skeletaldrawing's skeletal. They're so leggy!
... and a reconstruction by the BM of the original colours of the painted fragment discussed previously..
There is also have a great artistic reconstruction by my lab-colleague Chang-Han Sun!
