A small pet peeve of mine are these "what could've been" scenes. One of my rare praises for Re:Zero S2 was that it reduced the Rem what-if chapter after her "death" to just momentary frames instead of drawing attention to it like they were asking for some emotional response.

Here's some more art. Yes, the beast will get crucified in one part of the game, and instead of starting in a field, you start off in a dungeon being tortured. This will be a very dark, violent, and primal game. Going to get Tcrakman to remake the crucifixion and dungeon scenes.
