You seem to have the 'flat' problem most anatomy rookies make.
Try to get some rounder shapes to get that fleshy look.
Here are some example that I showed another artist about the 'flat' face phenomenon.

I was going to draw Kobolds but the warmup sketch was too interesting. Trying to use a soft brush to avoid brush marks without it looking all mushy and soft-brushy. Looks pleasantly fleshy with the bits of red here and there.
