Alright, let's picture a Iron Man game by the incredible Platinum Games.

First up, I'd call the game Iron Man: Stark WorldWide. The biggest reason is I'd like the game to play out in different areas each being open and wide, instead of just one giant map.

In what might be the most cursed piece of "art" I've ever made, I've done the in WonderDraft, turning Usagi into a giant nonsense terrain map. I, uh, dunno if Twitter is gonna do this image justice lol.

I was pleased it didn't have the GFX glitches the v40xx version had, but then I found one at the bottom of the map.. Bugger. 😐 Though I couldn't get it to crash, which is awesome. I even got to the second level. (In this one it's Amsterdam, then London.) Almost to the third.. 👍

It turns out there are a lot more leftovers for the multiplayer mode than I thought in Rayman Advance 👀 It has a flag count for each player and a map. The exit signs act as your base.

I am ready for the beach. 🏖️Redid my mesh so it will fit me better for Full Body tracking. This should almost be a 1:1 to my actual proportions. Finally getting it down to the final UV map and textures. Right now I have everything in one UV albedo map.

Final Fantasty Tactics' map was the first game that made me feel like I was in an actual world with its map. It had an old world feel to it, and I love replaying the game just to see it. It gives me a sense of how travel can feel when I run my games.

The height-lines allow height estimation by counting, since they are evenly spaced vertically. They are wonky on super steep edges for a number of reasons but I think for the purposes of a game map it's OK since its still a clear demarcation between sections of the map.
