Starting out with linework this time, that helped me a lot!

Part of the fear of sketching for me is not knowing what to do next, so if I have it planned out in the beginning, the anxiety level goes way down. :)

Well I really love this one after learning the lesson to not staying closer to grays to get more colourful tones, I think I did what I say and this is a good example. Now my next thing to do is getting more desaturated colors yayy!!😊💪

I will try this, and play with various techniques along the way :)
For this first, I have rarely done night scenes, just a few, until recently for a project, and I liked it. It's fun how you have to play with colors and desat in thos conditions. Hope you like it!

In which I decide buildings are hard and run away to paint waterfalls and forests.

I used 's fantastic brush pack, so in honour of that, this one HAD to be a Princess Mononoke tribute too.

Going to try to do
I definitely struggle with landscapes, so for the challenge I'm hoping to make a environment sketch that is done in 30ish minutes, is readable and interesting, and could totally be the start of a 2d background in a PS1-era JRPG
