Saivodus and a lot of other ctenacanthiforms made a huge impression. As did genera like the gigantic goblin sharks (Scapanorhynchus and Rhaphiodus), as well as some other lamniforms of the time. Among xenacanths it was bransonellines. PLUS THE whole Carboniferous lol.

i drew this the other day. didn't care how I lined it no expactation. It's cleaned up sketch and honestly it was just relieving to sort of carve this out of weird lines. I wanna do it more, maybe that's the way i can get to loving or understanding digital more comfortably.

So I posted that singing and haven’t really been happy with it. I tried to not do such harsh black lines, but I kinda think it works. And its a cover for a comic basically composed of black outlines. So I did this mock up and yeah, I’m gonna go back and add outlines.
