This isn't actually too surprising, and it just goes to show how interconnected history can be. Though without a doubt, when Imperial China or the medieval Islamic world come to mind, most people don't imagine the two actually fighting each other.

There's probably someone out there who would grill me for saying this, but the Green River Formation seems to have one of the "blandest", least "exciting" faunas out there.
