In case anyone cares, no I haven’t forgotten about and I’m actually working on probably one of my most ambitious ideas yet. Ambitious mostly because it involves me trying things I’ve never tried before like space and planets, different outlines, new brushes. I’m excited!

basically it was
- resolution is very small, fancy characters = noisy
- outlines and chibi help, but then it looks like every other pixel game
- people really preferred the realistic proportions in polls

still, the characters can be complex and expressive in animation!

Hiya! I'm playing around with shaders for another Warriors video I'm planning. One is watercolour based, the other is more cartoony. I was wondering which one looks better? I prefer the one with outlines, but I'm still unsure haha

Saw a twitter post for pixel art saying to start small and work up. So I did. Very minimal style with a monochromatic color scheme. :)

P.S. Yes even those "black" outlines are just very dark shades of green/red.

What's your favorite style from my artworks? :)

- Painting style (red dragon)
- Cartoony Comic (yellow dragon)
- Thick outlines (semi-realistc) (werewolf)

I love to experiment with a lot of styles, but I'm most familiar with the cartoony one. : )

went back and manually edited out some outlines around the characters in page 56 that made them stand out from the background... it really bothered me when i was looking at this page for reference material while drawing 86.

Here's an example, Numo. AA is (also, but not just) about smoothing the transition between two colors. So this is gonna work regardless of outlines or not. Like, with Arceus, there isn't an outline but with the mouse, you have it.

I tried turning it into a night scene just to see if I could do that using tonal corrections.

Dont mind the trees behind and their white outlines😂

Muss mich demnächst mal mit Schatten,Highlights etc beschäftigen🙈 bis dahin macht es viel Spaß die Outlines zu üben❤️ Jetzt musste die Liebe Bulma dran glauben🥰 Eigentlich hat sie bei dem Outfit keine offenen Haare aber das war mir egal, zum üben wars super😊 auch am Handy gez.

Normally when I go from sketch to vector I use solid filled shapes without outlines. Even my art with outlines are usually shapes that I added a stroke to. Trying out drawing outlines first and adding color & shading as layers underneath for a change.
