This turned out very weird..I felt really lost bc like..certain things the hue was more similar to the neutrals than either yellow or purple, but they were such saturated colors that rendering them in neutrals felt fucked up. Idk I’m sure I’ll get some helpful guidance tomorrow

For some more examples, the GBA Pokemon games used hue (aquamarine grass, green trees) for contrast rather than value difference.

The DS Pokemon games had dark trees with an interesting yellow -> blue gradient from top to bottom.
