Okay so first of this mesh is almost 10k triangles, which is ludicrous. I'm going to start off with lowering that down to 4-5k before touching the texture

There is a line somewhere between lazy and efficient, so I copy-pasted Zelda's model; changed the hair, nose, added a hat, recolored the texture and BOOM: Link is like, 75% Zelda.
Somehow still ended up with the same number of triangles tho 🤣🤔
