Who doesn't love Animal Companions? This monstrosity from the dark corners of the galaxy is Xixogotyu, a "grave stalker" cat. She's Tequo's cat. Or Tequo is his person. Either way, it's a big cat that feeds off of high concentrations of spiritual energy.

One of those little artist quirks? That I always find myself doing, especially with sketches, is to add those thick short lines to the corners of mouths... it’s just a small squinch of a line... adds ✨flair✨ i guess

what i do is ill make like a blob, and erase the corners to make it look more like fire, maybe use the airbrush to make it look like its burning
then i do the same w 2 lighter colors, on diff layers, and add some blending modes on top to make it pop!

This is actually based on a dream. It's where this man survives a plane crash but is lost in the wilderness. He gets this fictional disease called the skates where it slowly distorts the face, body and mind, mainly widening the corners of the mouth and elongating the limbs.
