Animation that appeals to a wider audience ironically are the ones that are the easier targets. Because as soon as you take themes that are mature and make them palatable to both adults and kids, suddenly it's just for kids.

I personally think it'd probably be a bit easier to do 3~4 different palettes depending on the area of the world you're in, rather than a robust lighting system.

Happy December! 🎄 The theme for my Purry Mail Club this month is Hako's warm and toasty adventure at the gingerbread village! I've tried baking gingerbread cookies last year – while it was fun, it was also a lot of work. Illustrating them is definitely much easier. 😅

I'm surprised @TheGame6970 didn't face palm on the original padoru. But if you can imagine it was easier for me to make game's face than it was for me to create the cartoon one.

@holygnocchi @WhimsyManaged Here are some women with minimal shading so it’s easier to see, but I treat them as a circle for the shoulder, then two cylinders for upper and lower arm, curving in at the elbow. I don’t know if that helps or not 😂

Finally made refs for all of them so here's all 4 together. i refined toby and basil a tiny bit from their original designs to make them easier to draw
