Maybe interesting or not to some people, this is my first (flats) draft. I don't have a timelapse or anything, but the process was just:
-set up palette
-trace the major, then the buildings one by one (this)
-go back over each element doing cleanups and dithering

it was on a SNES Rainbow Road variant, but I usddenly noticed buildings on the sides. It was a new variant with WarioWare character head buildings.

I love the the perspective on the buildings. The almost cubist rendering of Kong's head. The silent movie expressions of our 3 leads - wide eyes and red lips, and finally the dinosaur, which is modeled more after a heraldic dragon, but looks like the Fig Newton guy after a bender
