Di a few more concept sketches based on the character design I was most satisfied with. They're a bit inconsistent in style, but I was just experimenting a bit and trying out some different expressions. Figuring out how his hair looks in angles is such a pain lol.

I'm pretty sure Sonic is hiding something here given that he can't look at Blaze in the eye and Blaze looks very suspicious of him.

One thing I noticed about IDW Sonic compared to other Sonic comics is that they try to tell less with dialogues and more with facial expressions.

Sometimes when I want to make a new character I fuck around with Roblox's character creation.
He doesn't have a name but the mask switches out to show his expressions. They fall off like paper almost.
